ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions and evaluation of the efficiency of current networks.
  • Install and configure a variety of WAN/LAN solutions across a variety of vendors.
  • Evaluate and deploy monitoring and configuration management systems for network devices.
  • Work with an evolving team of IT professionals from a diverse background of technologies and experiences.
  • Troubleshoot WAN/LAN, internet, and telecommunications issues.
  • Assist/Support other network related tasks/requirements as directed by management.
  • Available on-call to assist with trouble tickets as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Technical knowledge and aptitude with networks, network topologies, workstations (Windows primarily some Linux), network file servers, and network-based applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, PRGT, Unimus, DCHP, DNS, SNMP, SSL Certs, BGP, SSL-VPN.
